{Color Obession} Chartreuse- Go BOLD or Go Home!

It’s bright, it’s BOLD, and it’s totally me.  The color chartreuse is doing me well this spring season.  With trends leaning toward bright colors and bold prints in fashion as well as decor, it leaves me gitty thinking of all the fresh color combos just waiting to be created.  My newest color obession, chartreuse, is now my latest favorite pop of color.  Although it is not for the faint of hearts.  I’m sure Chris and I will have fun pitching my latest obession to color loving clients. Check out these everyday images that inspire me creatively.

The Upside Down Tulip… Chandelier?

Yep your read right- an upside down chandelier made of real tulips. Earlier this summer, we did a post, entitled Yellow, featuring some pictures of one of the hottest summer colors for event décor (if you missed it, check it out here, because yellow is still a hot color!). In looking back, I realized that one major image was missing… an image that, in my opinion, has now become synonymous with Bold American Events: the upside down tulip chandelier. Since joining the team here at Bold, you would be surprised how many times I have had clients ask me in meetings and on site visits about the infamous upside down tulips. Seriously, it keeps coming up and I am here to give you what you want. I even had a mother of the bride recently admit that she tried and failed to DIY her own version of the unique floral showstopper. This 12 foot long chandelier was the focal point at a black, white, and yellow wedding and designer, Steve Bales, adds “the table top was a mirror so the guests sitting at the table could actually see the tulip blooms all evening!” Words cannot express just how much I love this picture!
