If you know me personally, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that I’m a pink type of girl. It’s flirty, fun, and feminine all at the same time. Lately I have been toning down my hot pink for more subtle blush tones.

I was doing some Pinterest research for the Bold American Events’ blog and my site when I came across this lovely palette from Perfect Palette. The combination of sky blue, camel, and ivory creates a perfectly peaceful backdrop for a summer dinner party or beach wedding. Since I’m still on my French tulip trip, I’d add simple monochromatic single statement centerpieces of ivory French tulips and ivory calla lilies for a no fuss sophistication. I think the team over at Perfect Palette got this color combination, well… perfect.

Bold Wedding: Karen and Anthony!
Pearls have always made a MAJOR impression on my style. When I graduated high school, I received the most beautiful pearl necklace. When I became a sorority girl, I received pearl earrings ( s/o to all the pretty girls wearing twenty pearls). Now, pearls are helping to stretch my decor imagination as once again, fashion and event decor intertwines. Couple Karen and Anthony held their reception at 200 Peachtree earlier this year. What a perfect March day to be married. It was an unseasonably warm day. The weather was clear and the day was full of celebration. We are so happy for Karen and Anthony and their new life together. They had a wonderful day. Katie, Brittany and I loved being a part of it to document this time in their lives. They chose all of our favorite vendors so it was a joy to work with such a great group of talent.
